WHAT DOES A WHITE PERSON KNOW ABOUT BEING A POC?

WHAT DOES A CIS PERSON KNOW ABOUT BEING TRANS*?

WHAT DOES A MALE KNOW ABOUT BEING FEMALE?

WHAT DOES AN ABLE BODIED PERSON KNOW ABOUT BEING DISABLED?

WHAT DOES A PERSON WHO HAS BEEN THIN THEIR WHOLE LIFE KNOW ABOUT BEING FAT?

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE RHETORICAL NATURE OF THESE QUESTIONS, TAKE A FUCKING SEAT.

      Permutationofninjas:

What does a PoC know about being white?

What does a trans* person know about being cis?

What does a female know about being male?

What does a disabled person know about being able bodied?

What does a person who has been fat their whole life know about being thin?

If you do not understand the argumentative nature of these questions, I’ll be happy to calmly explain them.

WOW YOURE KIDDING RIGHT

IM NOT EVEN GOING TO HAVE THIS OPPRESSION OLYMPICS DEBATE WITH YOU. WONT SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE THIN WHITE ABLE BODIED CIS FOLK?!

Alright no offense but I re-blogged this from permutationofninjas. There was a stupid formatting error and I basically had to cut and paste his post into my section otherwise it would have looked like you wrote everything, (which would look wierd….obviously.) Hence why I put “permutationofninjas:” right before the post.

I don’t understand why you chose to re-blog this from me rather than permuationofninjas, which is the source. As they said, if you do not understand the argumentative nature of those questions, they’ll be glad to calmly explain them to you. Unless of course, you would prefer to stubbornly cling to your dogma and not hear the other side of the story.

But I guess it doesn’t really matter anyway, because as you said, you would rather not debate oppression olympics. And I would rather honestly not debate oppression olympics with you either. While it is true that not all groups necessarily face the same amount of oppression, the way you describe it makes it sound like males, able-bodies, white people, POCs, and thin people don’t suffer oppression at all, which simply isn’t true.

…THIS IS ABOUT PRIVILEGE. AND THIN CIS ABLEBODIED WHITE MEN HAVE ALL OF THE PRIVILEGE IN THE WORLD. DECOMPARTMENTALIZE, AND THEY STILL ALL INDIVIDUALLY HAVE MORE PRIVILEGE THAN POC, TRANS*, FAT, OR DISABLED PERSONS. THATS IT. THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO IT. THE ‘OTHER SIDE’ OF THE STORY IS CALLED THE GRAND NATIONAL NARRATIVE, AND IT GETS SHOVED IN MY FACE ON A DAILY BASIS SO I REALLY HAVE NO INTEREST IN IT.

ALSO, I DIDNT NOTICE THAT THAT PERMUTATIONOFNINJAS OR WHATEVER PERSON REBLOGGED THIS, I ONLY NOTICED YOUR POST.

I guess that makes sense that you didn’t notice that he re-blogged from you first. But as I said, I have no interest in arguing with you right now. If you would like to debate this with someone, debate it with permutationofninjas, who as I said, was the source. However, I’ll say this again. Even though every group may not necessarily be oppressed the same amount, they are all oppressed to a certain degree nevertheless.
